Founded in 1988, America's 401(k) is an Independent Third Party Administrator (TPA) located in Dallas/Fort Worth that specializes in maintaining a quality, cost-effective retirement plan for hundreds of companies in and around the North Texas region. We strive to set ourselves apart with our Point-of-Sale consulting efforts and providing exemplary customer service to investment representatives, plan sponsors and their participants.

America's 401(k) has a management team with over 100 years of expertise needed to insure an efficient and economical operation of any qualified plan, regardless of size or complexity.

Tom

Tom Ditzer

VP of Business Development

Tom Ditzer is the VP of Business Development who helps Financial Advisors and Business Executives institute best practices involving plan design, Fiduciary process, benefit illustrations & cost competitiveness to run their plan as efficiently as possible under ERISA law.

People who know him can always count on his responsiveness, professionalism, “go-anywhere-at-anytime” attitude & dedication to helping the small businesses of North Texas and Oklahoma.

When not solving America's Retirement Conundrum, Tom is often playing ice hockey for a local group of has-beens called the Harrow Vaqueros, chasing squirrels with his dog Beacon or listening to XM Pearl Jam radio in the car. Tom was born in Upstate New York and graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY.

Prior to America's 401k, Inc. Tom spent 4 years as an Account Executive at Fidelity Investments working directly with plan Trustees to evaluate & benchmark all phases of their existing plans within the competitive landscape to maximize their value.

Anna

Anna Kuykendall

Senior Plan Consultant

Anna Kuykendall is a Senior Plan Consultant in our Plan Administration and Compliance department with 14 years of experience. She focuses on helping Plan Sponsors in ensuring that their Retirement Plans are in compliance with ERISA law when it comes to calculating eligibility and Employer plan contributions, annual testing and government filings.

People who know her can always count on her responsiveness, 110% effort, positive outlook/attitude, dedication and attention to detail.

When not working towards the compliance deadlines at America's 401k, Anna is a wife and busy mom and can often be found cheering on one of her 4 daughters at one of their many extracurricular activities. When she has free time, she enjoys spending it with her family, having an occasional margarita, reading and doing laundry (joking)!

Anna began her career with America's 401k right out of school and really enjoys what she does!

Kathy Hopper

Senior Plan Consultant

Kathy Hopper is a Senior Consultant with over 20 years of experience working with Qualified Retirement and Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Kathy works with clients to ensure their retirement plans are operated in accordance with their plan document s and government regulations. She is very well known for her hand holding approach with clients and her responsiveness. The client’s best interest is always top priority.

In her spare time Kathy enjoys watching her son's sporting events. Brent is on the Varsity Golf Team and Ryan is involved in Middle School Football and the local sports association baseball. She and her husband Ted also spend time at Lake Texoma fishing. Kathy grew up in Fort Worth and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Austin. She is also a passionate Texas Longhorn fan!

Prior to joining America's 401k, Inc. Kathy worked for MTech, and SEI Corporation. The last 21 years were spent with JTV&A as a Senior Account Representative, until joining America's 401k, Inc.

Rina

Rina Petersen

Plan Consultant

Rina Petersen is a Plan Consultant with over 16 year of experience working with Qualifed Retirement Plans. Rina works hard to make sure that our Employers stay in compliance with IRS and ERISA law. She is responsible for determining eligiblity, contribution calculations, compliance testing and government filings. People that work with Rina know she is dedicated to our clients, responds to their questions and pays attention to detail…willing to go the extra mile to get it right.

Rina recently got married to her husband Mark. Their sweet dog, Gabby, is fondly refered to as "The Gabinator" when she is being a pistol. In her time away from work, Rina loves to spend time with her family, cheer for the Sooners, go to games, workout, play basketball and travel. Rina received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and her Master's of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. Rina is also a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).

Judy

Judy Burris

Plan Consultant

Judy Burris is a Plan Consultant with over 20 years experience with plan administration. She is a member of American Society of Pension Plan Administrators and Actuaries (ASPPA) and has earned the ASPPA designations of QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) and QPA (Qualified Plan Administrator.

Judy understands that responsiveness is an important part of what keeps her clients happy. You can count on her to do what is necessary to meet your expectations while helping you to keep your plan in compliance with ERISA.

Judy and her husband Ray, have 2 grown children. She enjoys spending time with her family (which includes Rowdy, the best Boston Terrier in Texas). She also likes reading and, when the weather is "just right", enjoys the occasional game of golf with her husband.

Mark

Mark Larson

Plan Consultant

Mark Larson is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a B.S. in Mathematics. He has more than 22 years of experience in retirement and pension administration, and is a specialist with America's 401k in 401(k) rules and regulations for his clients. His experience includes working with a wide range of plan sizes – from one employee to thousands.

Mark has worked with clients to design, implement and administer a broad range of defined contribution retirement plans. He holds many highly regarded designations including the QPA, QKA & CEBS. In addition to these designations, he continues to attend various technical and educational programs hosted by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and other organizations.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors.

Shelly

Shelley Vickrey

Plan Consultant

Shelley Vickrey is a Plan Consultant at America's 401k having previously worked closely with the administration team for several years while working as an employee benefits paralegal. Shelley first obtained her Paralegal Certification and AAS Degree from El Centro College and later graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with her BAAS Degree. In Shelley's free time, she enjoys expressing her creativity through music, writing, house remodels and producing digital media designs for the web. At each opportunity, Shelley and her youngest daughter travel to San Antonio to visit her oldest daughter who is a full-time college student at UTSA.

Shelley began her career in the employee benefits industry in 2004 as a paralegal specializing in retirement plan documents and compliance. As an employee benefits paralegal she gained in-depth experience preparing qualified retirement plan documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, plan amendments, participant loan agreements and Voluntary Compliance Program documentation. Additionally, Shelley performed legal research involving all aspects of the installation and operation of qualified retirement plans.
